Since our inaugural 2001 vintage of Pinot Noir, Migration has developed a refined and compelling style that balances vibrancy and finesse. In the years since, the centerpiece of our Migration winegrowing program is our 90-acre Running Creek Vineyard in the heart of the magnificent Sonoma Coast.
These sophisticated, Burgundian-varietal wines highlight lush fruit, bright acidity and balanced oak influence.
Defined by the idea of movement, Migration is dedicated to going beyond its original home and exploring Burgundian varietals from California’s finest cool-climate appellations. Migration works with a handful of acclaimed growers to produce a small portfolio of sought-after Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, including our flagship Sonoma Coast wines, and our coveted vineyard-designates.
Dana Epperson is a native Sonoman with extensive exploration of world-class, Burgundian-varietal winemaking. She practices a vineyard-driven approach to winemaking that accentuates the character and complexity of the renowned winegrowing sites Migration partners with.
