Continuum represents a century of wine in California. Begun in 2005 by Robert, Marcia and Tim Mondavi, four generations have paved the way to this singular estate in pursuit of a wine that is a terroir driven, Napa Valley great.
Winegrower Tim Mondavi has been making wine for more than 40 years including Robert Mondavi Winery, Opus One with the Chateau Mouton Rothchild family, Ornellaia and Luce in Italy with the Frescobaldi family and Sena in Chile with the Chadwick family. At Continuum Estate he now partners with his sister Marcia, and their children.
Nested in a native ecosystem, Continuum Estate lies between 1300 and 1600 feet above sea level, high above the valley floor, where more moderate temperature ranges from day to night encourage fruit of a particular character and nuance. Stressed by shy soils into naturally low yields the vines direct their energy to fruit of pure, concentrated essence. The resulting wine is a soulful expression of these exquisite origins.
